During my time out in Zanzibar / Tanzania, I met Ame Haji Makame.
Ame was born and raised in Zanzibar. When he met his love he moved to Norway where he then lived for almost 10 years. For now 3 years, he has been back in Zanzibar.
While he was showing us some amazing places on the island we had really cool conversations about the differences between living in Zanzibar and living in Norway, the different cultures, and his experiences living in both places. And believe me, I learned a lot.
